Shift Manager - Food Service

Salary – Up to £11.52 per hour

Part Time - 24 hours per week

As a shift manager in our award winning takeaways, you’re responsible for leading your team to deliver great quality food and customer service every time and helping ensure the smooth running of day to day operations.

About the role

We are looking for shift managers to join the team in our Allestree takeaway site, who can help develop and lead the team in an exciting, varied role. Day to day you will assist the general manager and help with shift rotas, placing orders with suppliers and completing weekly stock checks, ensuring cleaning is done daily and maintained, and supervising and positively leading a team of customer service and kitchen staff.

In the role you will be learning and growing as a leader every day, and is a great stepping stone to a General Manager position in our expanding business.

About you

You are passionate about delivering great customer service and quality food standards

You’re great with people and have great communication and leadership skills

You’re always keen to learn new techniques and sharing your experience with your team

You embrace individuality and care for others

You have experience in a fast-paced, customer facing hospitality or catering environment

You thrive in customer focused and leadership roles where supporting others is highly rewarding

Ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team leader, but if you don’t then don’t worry, we would still love to hear from you.
